Excellent for sampling and short term use as an extraction vessel for EPA Method 1311: Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP). (However, repeated agitation during EPA Test 1311 will result in diminished fluorination barrier properties, as will other scratches or abrasions to the fluorinated surface). Fluorinated surface reduces solvent absorption and permeation and provides better barrier properties than non-fluorinated HDPE surfaces. Fluorination enhances long-term container performance and prevents material loss due to permeation. Leakproof.
