10 litres, Round, made of Polypropylene
Standard Nalgene Carboy with installed 1-1/2-inch sanitary fitting welded in for use as a dispensing port. Fitting is located on side near bottom and provides a secure hook-up allowing the carboy to be used as a supply reservoir to a larger system such as a fermentor. Moulded in autoclavable PP. Closure size is 83B (83mm) Not recommended for use with hazardous materials. Accepts No 13-1/2 Rubber stopper. Before autoclaving, just set cap or closure on top of container without engaging the threads. Autoclavable / Graduated / Leakproof

The opaque carboy meets U S pharmacopoeia light transmission test (USP 23 661) requirements for storage of light sensitive materials. It is excellent for storing and mixing photosensitive chemicals reagents buffers and standards. Carboy has uniform wall thickness and smooth interior with no seam so your contents can't accumulate and contaminate your next sample. The flat bottom allows you to use carboy for applications using a stir bar. Leakproof.

Graduated in 1 gallon and 5 litre increments. This size takes 1/2 inch (13mm) I.D tubing. A hose clamp should be use when attaching tubing to ensure a tight fit and avoid leaking.
